Become a Daisy Driver
We are always happy to hear from people with a current P endorsement and a background in caregiving, or experience working with older people and those with physical or intellectual impairments.
Daisy Drivers take clients to medical appointments and children to school; we help people with their shopping or sometimes simply take clients out for a drive and a coffee. We have a lot of repeat clients and companionship is an important part of the service, so excellent people skills are essential.
The work is casual with no set hours, but our busiest times are between 8 am and 10am and 2pm and 4pm Monday to Friday, so this will not suit anyone who regularly drives a school bus or is always unavailable during those times.
Our ideal driver will have a background in a caring industry and/or experience working with people in wheelchairs or with disabilities.
The nature of the business means that you need to be flexible and not fazed by last minute changes to your schedule. Common sense and a reasonable degree of physical fitness are also important attributes.
A full clean driving license with P endorsement is essential - please do not apply unless you currently have, or are going through the process of obtaining, this.
If you are interested in becoming a Daisy Driver, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us why you are interested in the role along with your C/V and an outline of the days/times which you are available.
